ലൈംഗീക ബന്ധം സഹ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകയുടെ സമ്മതത്തോടെ: തേജ്പാലിന്റെ വാദം തെറ്റ്

യുവതിയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടത് പരസ്പര സമ്മതപ്രകാരമാണെന്ന് തേജ്പാല്‍ പറഞ്ഞതായി ചിലര്‍ എന്നോട് പറഞ്ഞു. കേട്ടപ്പോള്‍ എനിക്ക് അതിശയം തോന്നി. നാലു മിനിറ്റിനുള്ളില്‍ ഇയാള്‍ എന്താണ് ചെയ്തത്? അതും ലിഫ്റ്റിനുള്ളില്‍ പരിക്കര്‍ ചോദിച്ചു. ഗോവയില്‍ ഒരു പൊതുപരിപാടിക്കിടെയാണ് പരിക്കര്‍ ഈ ചോദ്യമുന്നയിച്ചത്.

ആറ് മാസം ജോലിയില്‍ നിന്നും വിട്ടുനിന്ന് തേജ്പാല്‍ രക്ഷപ്പെടുകയാണെന്നും പരിക്കര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. ഈ രക്ഷപ്പെടല്‍ അയാളുടെ കുറ്റസമ്മതമാണ് പരിക്കര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.

തേജ്പാലിനെ ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യാനായി ഗോവ പോലീസ് മുംബൈയില്‍ എത്തിയിരുന്നെങ്കിലും തേജ്പാലിനെ കാണാതെ മടങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ നിലവിലെ മാനേജിംഗ് എഡിറ്റര്‍ ഷോമ ചൗധരിയെ പോലീസ് 9 മണിക്കൂര്‍ ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തു.
