ആള്‍ സെയ്ന്റ്‌സ് ഡേ പ്രമാണിച്ച് നടന്ന പ്രത്യേക പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനയ്ക്കും ആഘോഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കുമിടയിലാണ് ദുരന്തമുണ്ടായത്. തിക്കും തിരക്കുമുണ്ടാകാനുണ്ടായ കാരണം വ്യക്തമല്ല. പുലര്‍ച്ചെ 6 മണിയോടെയായിരുന്നു അപകടം. അനമ്പ്ര സ്‌റ്റേറ്റ് ഗവര്‍ണര്‍ പീറ്റര്‍ ഒബിയും പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനയില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കാനെത്തിയിരുന്നു.
