ഭുവനേശ്വര്‍: ഒറീസയിലുണ്ടായ മിന്നല്‍ പ്രളയത്തില്‍ 47 പേര്‍ മരിച്ചു. മിന്നല്‍ പ്രളയത്തെതുടര്‍ന്ന് ഗഞ്ചം ജില്ലയിലെ 129 ഗ്രാമങ്ങള്‍ ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടു. ഏതാണ്ട് രണ്ട് ലക്ഷത്തോളം ജനങ്ങള്‍ ദുരിതബാധിതരായി. ഗജപതിയിലും ജനങ്ങള്‍ ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടു.
ഗജപതി, കന്ദമല്‍, ഖുര്‍ദ, പുരി, കട്ടക്, ജഗത്സിംഗ്പുര്‍, ക്ന്ദ്രപദ, ഭദ്രക്, ബാലാസുര്‍, മയൂര്‍ബഞ്ച്, നയഗഡ് എന്നീ ജില്ലകളില്‍ കനത്തമഴയും വെള്ളപ്പൊക്കവും തുടരുകയാണ്.
കഴിഞ്ഞ 4 ദിവസമായി പെയ്യുന്ന മഴയില്‍ ഒറീസയിലെ താഴ്ന്ന പ്രദേശങ്ങള്‍ വെള്ളത്തിനടിയിലായി.
രണ്ട് ദിവസം കൂടി മഴ തുടരുമെന്നാണ് കാലാവസ്ഥാ മുന്നറിയിപ്പ്. പ്രളയബാധിത പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലെ സ്‌കൂളുകള്‍ക്കും കോളേജുകള്‍ക്കും സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ അവധി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു.
